Kelingking Beach Nusa Penida

Nusa Penida – A Picturesque Destination

Nusa Penida is the largest of the amazing three Nusa Islands which are situated close to mainland Bali, making it easy enough to visit for a day trip. The islands are made up of the three Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan. They all provide epic things to do and amazing landscape to view. Nusa Penida is a relatively undeveloped and you won’t find the snazzy beach clubs, organic cafes or trendy restaurants here, YET but Nusa Penida is still worthy of a visit. It houses some of the most photogenic sights in Bali.

There are many quiet and secluded white sand beaches along the north and northwest coasts of Nusa Penida. Other geographical highlights include limestone caves, spectacular high coastal cliffs with karst formations and offshore pinnacles in the south and east, and rugged hill tops in the high centre. Nusa Penida has several interesting Hindu temples. When visiting be respectful and always heed local advice.

If you only have one day to spare, don’t worry! A day trip to Nusa Penida from Bali is very doable. You can get to Nusa Penida via a speedboat from Sanur in the morning and come back in the afternoon. But if you want to see the entire Nusa Penida and really enjoy your stay, you would need 2-3 days on the island.

Our resort, The Alantara Sanur is only 5 minutes away from the harbour . Let us arrange your trip and get free pickup at the airport and return transfer boat with Island Tour.
